Increased Army Demand For JLTV Expands Dielectric Business With World-Leading OEM Oshkosh Defense

Menomonee Falls, WI - August 2, 2017: Dielectric Corporation and Centerline Machine (a div. of Dielectric Corp.) announced today that based on new orders of $195 million by the U.S. Army for 748 JLTV vehicles from Oshkosh Defense and 2,359 installed and packed kits, it will be expanding production of components to meet the new demand.

“Our partnership with world-leading OEM defense manufacturers like Oshkosh is a true testament to the quality and on-time delivery of components we produce every day in our ISO and ITAR certified facilities”, said Mike Esser (President & CEO).

Dielectric and Centerline Machine have worked closely with Oshkosh’s JLTV engineering team to develop special machining processes for critical suspension A-Arms and several other components. The JLTV program is currently in Low Rate Initial Production (LRIP) and remains on-schedule, on-budget and is completing reliability and performance test activities as well as logistics supportability evaluations around the country. The program anticipates a Full Rate Production decision in FY19, with the first Army unit equipped by mid-FY19 and both Army and Marine Corps Initial Operating Capability (IOC) in early FY20.
